Fabric paint, which is also known as textile paint, is most commonly made from an acrylic polymer. This acrylic, which is bonded with a color and then emulsified, makes the paint durable against routine use, multiple washes, and sunlight.

Textiles are materials or fabrics. They are made of tiny fibers that can be man-made or come from nature, those fibers are then twisted into yarns, and the yarns are then woven or knit into a fabric. When designing a high-quality fabric the first, and most arguably most important step, is fiber selection.

"Cotton" refers to a specific natural fiber derived from the cotton plant, while "fabric" is a broader term encompassing any material produced through weaving, knitting, felting, or other methods. Cotton is a type of fabric, and it's one of the most widely used natural fibers in textile production.

In general, fabrics are materials that have been through additional processes. A textile refers to the base materials that are made from woven fibers, but as soon as other processes like stitching are applied in order to utilize those materials for making clothing, they are considered fabrics.
